About Sam
Kalamiah Sam is the Team Lead at Stawi Development Initiative, providing strategic leadership and overall management of the organization. A seasoned Programs Manager and Social Development Practitioner with over 15 years of experience, he has led transformative development initiatives in youth empowerment, governance, organizational development, advocacy, and capacity building across Uganda. Sam has successfully designed and managed donor-funded programs that promote sustainable community development and institutional growth. Previously, he served in leadership roles at Creations Forum Afrika and the Uganda Youth Network (UYONET), where he strengthened strategic partnerships and supported nationwide youth initiatives. A Makerere University graduate in Bachelor of Arts with Education, Sam is passionate about empowering communities, mentoring leaders, and driving lasting social impact through collaborative and results-oriented development programs.
