About Carolyne
Carolyne Nanzala Wekesa is a social worker and teacher with over 15 years of experience in public service and community development. She currently serves as a Community Development Officer in Bubutu, Namisindwa District, where she leads social initiatives and fosters stakeholder collaboration. Previously, she worked as Principal Town Agent and NAADS Coordinator, and has held roles as Planning Focal Point Officer and Board of Survey Member. Carolyne holds a Bachelor’s and Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA) from Uganda Christian University, alongside a Grade III Teacher Certificate. Skilled in communication, networking, and problem-solving, she is passionate about empowering communities, addressing social challenges, and promoting inclusive development.
