About Eva
Eva Nabirye is a Gender, Social Inclusion, and Child Protection Specialist with over eight years of experience in humanitarian and development contexts. Eva brings expertise in safeguarding systems, case management, gender-responsive programming, and policy advocacy. She has collaborated with government institutions, civil society, and international partners to strengthen child protection coordination and service delivery. Eva has led programmes that prevent and respond to violence, abuse, and exploitation of children, particularly among refugees and marginalized communities. She currently serves as Gender, Inclusion, and Child Protection Coordinator at the Education Local Expertise Centre, and has held leadership roles with Finnish Mission Uganda, Real Medicine Foundation, and AUPWAE.
Eva holds a Master’s degree in Economic Policy Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Makerere University, alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute and a Gender Equality Change Makers Certificate from Digital Frontiers Institute.
